How can you improve your listening skills and pronunciation? The answer is: create English surroundings, listen to English records, radio stations, podcasts or even DVDs. The recording I used for the class test is the episode Getting around London by public transport from the podcast ‘London Walks.’ If you haven’t got iTunes installed on your computer click here, in order to launch the podcast website.
The other recording I used is the episode Landing in London from The Flatmates, a weekly series presented by BBC.
You can listen to the dialogue, read the language matters (vocabulary, idioms) and do the activities.
