There are loads of spelling games on the Web. Here is a short collection of such games you can play if you want to train your spelling and typing skills.

1. You can play Typeracer alone or against other online players.

After choosing a nickname you can start playing. You will get a piece of text and you’ll have to type in each word in the text.

2. The next game is called TYPER SHARK. You’re a diver and you have to destroy the sharks before they get you. Type in correctly the words on the sharks and you’ll get rid of the filthy beasts.

Select the difficulty level and give it a go!

3. Another spelling game I recommend is Catch That Thief.

You’ll have to complete challenges on plural nouns, double consonants and so on. After each challenge you’ll get a word to write on your clue list. After you’ve completed all 6 challenges you can click on the ‘finished’ button to get the name of the thief.
